I'm going to have to go with the pre-historic period of human activity.

Something happened there we haven't figured out yet.

This planet is so much older then us, who knows what happend before us,outside what we think we know(archeology/theory/?).......Interesting :D

The American Revolution period. Before, during ,and following it. The state that I grew up in was called "the cross roads of the American Revolution "

Ken Burns has a six part mini series on de-funded PBS starting Nov. 16 called 'The American Revolution'.

Evolving from Windows X.X to LInux is similar to evolving from:
    - Dial-Up Internet Access - typically was 16 kb/sec to 56 kb/sec to Hi-Speed Internet (250 Mbps - 20 Gbps)
    - A Sting-Ray bicycle to a Ferrari GT250
    - Fuzzy, snowy, black & white TV to 4k Streaming Color Video
    - Sears Mail Order in 1885 to Amazon in 2025 (delivery within hours or 2 to 4 days)

Any period before the rise of the Internet. We are in the world predicted by Orwell, Huxley and a host of other sci-fi authors. As our so called Smart Tech et al consumes us we are actually devolving. We are replacing ourselves with technology.

Period of history I'd like to live in? I think the current one, but I wish I was around 5 years older than I am. I feel I missed out on a lot of good stuff during the 1960s because I was just becoming a teenager when the Beatles and the Stones were becoming famous. I reckon if I'd been a teenager at the end of the 50s I'd have been more aware of what was going on when it all kicked off from around 1963 onwards.

Was a good prediction, but i also like star trek lore ect.............wich in the end gets better...........hopefully.

For some reason(hope i am wrong(youth)), i do think it will gets worse(humanity/system/society), before it will get better.................i would love to see the future and where it all really goes(after i die)..............

    My once a year :D

ps. for some peace of mind.....evolution.............it is more a matter of where we(current generations) want to go....
