I've seen a lot of bands and have been to a lot of concerts while traveling around the sun in my 67 years. Everybody from the Allman Brothers to ZZ Top and my top 5 are: 1.Steely Dan at the Gorge in George WA. The view was spectacular and the music had studio sound quality. 2. Led Zeppelin in 1977 in Greensboro NC. I was a senior in HS back then. 3. Grateful Dead back in the early 80s at Madison Sq Garden. They did a 4 night run there and me and a buddy got tickets for 2 of the shows. 4. Rolling Stones at the Daytona 500 Speedway in the mid 80s. Van Halen with David Lee Roth backed them up. 5. Lynyrd Skynyrd back in 77 a few months before they crashed and burned. The Outlaws were their back up band. Honorable mentions: Eric Clapton Alvin Lee Michael Hedges (3) times B.B. King James McMurtry
