Monopoly. I have one rules variation that I like to use sometimes: If you land on Free Parking, you can pay $200 to teleport to any space on the board except for Go, the railroads or utilities. The only exception is if land on there by rolling getting out of jail. If you land there from being in jail, nothing happens. (Just Visiting, you can still teleport.)
I like Stratego because it's one of the few games out there that's 100% pure strategy, no luck or rolling of dice. I also enjoy RISK because it's so pretty and elaborate.
I think monopoly and trivial persuit are my all time favourites. In general, I like every board game that has to do with questions and knowledge. I also love playing online games, especially roulette. When beginners play online roulette for the first time, they naturally want to get an insight into the world of online casinos without playing with huge amounts of money. Here is a sneak peak in the world of the low stakes roulette providers!
Currently my favourite game is Eclipse 2nd Dawn. Shortly followed by Firefly the Board Game - but I can't get it to the table in my group. (I like a whole variety of board games but sci fi is another interest of mine ) This is me on BGG: Cucumbertronic | User Collection | BoardGameGeek Add me if inclined
Some of my favorites are Pictionary, Scattegories, and Trivial Pursuit. Phase 10 is pretty cool if you're into card games
I love lots of board games, some of my favorites are: Clue Chess Monopoly Risk Scrabble Upwords Abalone I could go on and on but my all time favorite is Catan, after we bought it we played it every day for almost 2 months and I still wasn't sick of it. I'm not a big fan of the expansion packs though.
I have a new favourite every year. It all depends on what my grandchildren get for Christmas. We go to their house for a family dinner today and stay over so I don't have long to wait to find out what we will all be arguing over this year
Should say I do play chess online but miss the actual physical presence of an opponent. In Spain, France and Italy there are many, many places to just turn up and play.
