I watched three episodes last night - While Andy, Kingfish, Calhoun and Light'ng are comic buffoons - Amos is very much a serious character. They also had a black Real Estate Company owner who was an everyday business owner - white or black. The same with a black department store owner that Andy went to see for a job. Very much a business man. Other that the main cast - the characters are everyday joes living and working like all of us.
This whole discussion brings to mind Married With Children. Count whites or blacks be any stupider and more ridiculous.?
