Why does rap exsist?

 

I really like weak and powerless by A Perfect Circle. Or "Teenager" by Deftones. Pretty much the entire White Pony album by them is amazing.

 

A Perfect Circle, Tool, Deftones(especilly White Pony) NIN; all put me in a sort of trance when I'm high.

I had the best shroom trip of my life hanging around outside listening to White Pony

 

well now it's anna molly by Incubus. But yes I agree they are all amazing. Some of the events that chino used to get a further metaphorical point in some songs happened to me in my life. Like in teenager "I drove you home, then you moved away" speaking from a love standpoint. "I climbed your arms, then you pulled away" etc etc.

It's just fun to think about relations with words to your life sometimes.

 

Same here, most people I know that listen to Change by the Deftones are kinda like.. 'Wdf' But, I totally get the metaphors. Alot of Deftones songs are all based around the same emotions/situations.

I never really got into Incubus much, I like pardon me and wish you were here though.

I couldn't pick 1 song if you held a gun to me head. I LOVE throwing on anything by Dream Theater when i'm high. IMO the greatest band ever. Tool would be a close second. Really depends on my mood. I'm betting alotta you yonger folks have never heard of Dream Theater, but i suggest checking them out sometime.

 

I'd have to say A Perfect Circle - Fiddle and the Drum, listening to Maynard harmonizing with himself is amazing.

I can never just listen to one song but these days Sizzla, KRS-1, Peter Tosh, Mystic Roots, Michael Franti, Heavyweight Dub Champion, Method Man, Damian Marley and STS9 get about equal play.

Sizzla's "One Love" is the track to get going in the morning, I pump it while I brush my teath and it puts me in a good mood all day.

 

Spacemen 3's "Losing Touch With My Mind" this song was meant to be listened to while on mind altering substances, the same goes for all there other songs why else would they make a record called "Taking Drugs to make music to take drugs to"
