Of course we are in control of how our lives turn out, but I still believe fate provides us with possibilities, and we take it upon ourselves to decide which of those possibilities will become reality.
Well, sometimes I think things happen for a reason, weither they're good or bad. I can honestly say that i've learned something through ALL my experinces in life and tried to get the most out of them.
I honestly believe some things are meant to happen. I believe I was meant to get arrested a few times and I believe I was meant to make A LOT of incredibly stupid mistakes. Mistakes and hardships can be the best things to ever happen to us, as long as you learn from those mistakes/hardships, and I see them as fate's way of helping us become who we are meant to be. I compare fate and it's influence on our lives to be quite similar to those "choose your own adventure" books I used to read as a kid. lol Fate shows us the possibilities and it's up to us to decide which of those possibilities we will bring to fruition.
I think you have a genuine idea there. Fate is true. It is fate that we are given options and choices. I'll admit that I was destined to experience some things. If I hadn't experienced somethings, I'd still be snorting cocaine everyday, doing anything to get more. It took 6 months after the worst time in my life so far to learn the lesson of discipline when it comes to drugs.
Eggzakly! 'Fate' put a fork in your path and you had to choose to either help yourself or continue hurting yourself. Fate decides when we will make a change in our lives, but it's up to us to make the dicision to change for the better or for the worse.
i kinda have the same ideas as some of you guys...where as i do believe in fate, but i believe that it only takes you so far and then you have to choose how far you're willing to take it fate could bring the girl of your dreams right under your nose...but it's your choice to run with it. if you let her pass you by, then that's fate walking right in and out of your life.
no fate doesnt exist. we are in control of our live and now one can change that. fate is just another way of blaming someone else for our mistakes. its a cowardly and immautre thing to blame a mystical force that you failed you test and that the girl you like doesnt talk to you. in order to succeed in life you must cease the day. may your own way in life becuase no one else will do it for you
