You can usually see the Milky Way pretty much anywhere in Colorado...except Denver area.

It's amazing. I was out in the middle of nowhere Colorado and watched the Leonids streak across an extremely vivid Milky Way. Absolutely phenomenal. The amount of stars that were visible was just stunning
