I put it in the joke section, but really I think this is a serious question too. What are the views of societies around the world regarding breaking wind (i.e., farting)? Specifically, is there any place on earth where doing it in public (farting that is--not sex, you pervert) is tolerated or even encouraged? I could be wrong. But I vaguely recall hearing or reading some place that in some Middle Eastern countries, letting one fly after a sumptuous dinner is considered a compliment to the host (or at least the cook). Or was it some other culture? I forget. In any event, that is my question. Please take it at least partly seriously.
no.... but it happens ....so that's life.... with a dad who had no qualms about doing it all of the time....boy, that pissed my mom off, I find the whole topic rather humorous. Nice to have humorous subjects in this lifetime.....I guess.
I usually rip a juicy fart and let out a few good burps when I'm done eating, nothing is more satisfying so I wish more cultures did it. :O
Thats gross. Burps are coo But im particularly anti-fart. It rages me. Its funny in cartoons and movies though, in the real world they suck!
It depends on what you've eaten. I once passed gas after eating something dead which had previously eaten something that had died from eating the vomit found beside something that had been dead for a week. I lost a lot of friends that day.
I have no shame with my frequent stinky farts, it's so much more fun just letting them rip whenever and wherever.
Your farts reallyu are shameless and smell pree smelly. I always strive to hold my gas in in public sitiations.
Oh,COME now, people! Surely THE most universal 'joke' on this planet,in any language/culture,is "Pull my finger".
What is fascinating is the way that fully grown men turn into 12 year olds & fall about laughing whenever a fart is passed! My husband keeps telling me that farts are inherently hilarious....don't quite see that myself!
