Farmers Markets Mtl-Ott?

    hay all..can anyone here tell me about some good farmers markets either all year round or seasonal or even a private farmer around the ottawa-cornwall to montreal areas,like lots of greens,moving in the area next year..thx

    There is a great farmers market right before the access point to the 401 in Cornwall. Pretty much local produce and those who are not local note that so that if you are doing farm to table you will know.

    There is also a local butchery right on the main strip that also does cheese from St Alberts as well as local meats.

    In Ottawa we have a few great farmers markets! There is one in the Westboro area on Saturdays and a much larger one at Lansdowne park on Sundays. The Lansdowne market is definitely worth checking out!

    thats great,thx ,ive herd about that lansdowne park one,is that where bank street and the football stadium is?

    Yes it's where the new big stadium is! The Westboro one is on Richmond Rd near golden Avenue if you are interested in that one too. The Westboro one is smaller but suzie q donuts and a few other awesome places usually have stalls there so I love it.
