It is based upon events in 2006/somewhat like the movie, same general concept but much much more creative and intense. Its on FX on tuesdays at 10.
Great show so far... I love Billy Bob Thorntons acting. However, I think I read somewhere that this show is only going to be like a 10 episode series with no 2nd season.
Yes you are right. If its based on the old movie then they can really only drag it out so long, you know?
A second season has officially been announced. Its going to be in a different time and place though and i presume different characters, which worries me but i guess we will see
It's Fargo time again! I'm liking season 3 better than season 2 so far I must say. I found the plot of S3 a bit confusing, and it was a bit slow. This time round things are picking up nicely. Can't wait for the rest of the series. This is hotting up to be the best Fargo ever. Maybe the best thing since Breaking Bad. Ewan McGregor continues to surprise me with the versatility of his acting skills. Some may say it's a terrible attempt at an American accent, but it's I think supposed to be an American accent with a little bit of Irish blended in. Not a bad job for someone who is Scottish. And I've been a fan of David Thewlis since Naked (1993) and he's just brilliant in this as well.
