I think I am beginning to like the Michfest idea more and more... if this is gonna be a serious festival thing (irrespective of name) then I will try and come... if my band is together and sounding ok, then I would come over and play if we have the money to do so... I'd support it in anyway I could too, not got a loads of money though so won't be much good at financing anything!

I propose we call it the "Gumby Gathering" Mostly for Gumbygurl who came up with the idea, but also because it will be mostly greens and all of us flexible.

Wow, I'm impressed to see so many replies. I started thinking about it and I thought maybe we could name it, "Ah shlo Sha." It is Hebrew for peace and it's a language almost all of our languages originated from. Just a thought. Right now my biggest problem is finances. I'm a college student and I just barely moved in with my boyfriend's family. So it is a little overwhelming. I'm not too sure on how to go about organizing this so any tips or advice would ber extremely helpful. - peace
