I'm missing something here. I must be getting old. Two years ago my son got us a Fandango gift card to go and see a movie. We used some of it two years ago and have been patiently waiting for another movie to use it up. We had $6.40 left on it. So we thought we'd go see this Churchill movie. Now if you've never used a Fandango gift card this is what you do. Go to the Fandango website (requires a computer of some sort). Sign in or visit as guest. Find the movie you want in the city you want at the time you want at the theator you want...if it supports Fandango. Fill out your name, credit card info, email, Fandango card number and code and secret handshake. Go to check out, find out they'r charging you $3.00 to use a gift card that's already paid for, wait for a confirming email which you then print out with your ink, paper, and printer and take it to the theater. If you don't get the email or fail to print it out, take your credit card and announce that you're here to pick up a ticket and swipe your credit card to get your ticket. And all this must be done in advance, so a spontaneous movie is out of the question. So where is the advantage? Seems to me it's much easier to just go to the theater, slap down some cash or credit card and I'm done. And it doesn't cost me an additional $3.00! What am I missing here?
A Regal gift card. You just walk in, buy your tickets with the card--no hidden fees or conformation emails or any of that--go see your movie. You can even use it to get popcorn and stuff. Totally simple. Though, it has to be a Regal theater. But Cinemark, AMC, most movie theaters have their own gift cards. Fandango makes it unnecessarily complex.
i'd just like an index of what's playing at which movie house without having to go through all that bullshit. i mean movie houses still have ticket windows, right? even the snooze in review tells you what they think about things, but they still don't tell you what's playing where. well movies and even books have gotten too damd expensive, but once in a while something comes along i might be interested in.
Dirt, dust, chipping away the rust with the freaky moves that I bust and I'mma pop out, rock out with mah cock out and fandango all across the tombstones, time to wake them piles of bones!
you give the card to somone in line who has a kid and forget about it...its a few dollars....so what?
I'm gonna go see I, Tonya again tonight. After I saw it, I wouldn't stop talking about it and I whipped my friends into a frenzy and they were like, "ooooohhh...we need to see this movie." I'm like, "yes, you do. But not without me." We normally do "bad movie night" on Tuesdays, but tonight we're doing awesome movie night.

I'm crab walking in the streets real hard, cars stop like what the fuck is going on, dead bodies mowing the lawn. Do the sprinkler, Do the superman, get st00pid that's the plan!
We skip a light fandango, turn cartwheels across the floor....i was feeling kinda seasick but the crowd called out for more...
