Family nudity

ive never experienced either of those, and, even though they should both be part of life, would be more shocking to me than witnessing a brutal murder

 

I find some of these comments very stupid!Not to mention the disrespect towards family!Yet these same hypocrites see the parents of other people naked,yet they speak very degrading of their own parents!Just answer me one question....what is the difference between naked.....people and...her.....naked parents?Are their bodies and genitals any different,perhaps ....alien?- think a penis looks like a penis,a vagina like a vagina...why would the parents body be different?If some of you idiots are nudists and perhaps parents....I'd love to hear your kids remarks,or are you a hypocrite nudist without your kids knowing.....

 

My family thinks very differently (I cant be naked around any of them)

 

My mom use to walk around me nude all the time which I always found very awkward, but I got use to it. The rest of us tried hard to stay obscure from one another, although my brother and I would take baths together until we got older.

A family that lived down the street from us would do this regularly though, which we all thought should have been investigated. The father was a child molester anyway and I think he eventually got busted for it. Not that nude families are likely to be molesters, but it can be a bit strange especially if the children are not yet aware of the 'differences.'

well... ok like since i was little like my fam was like ...its totally ok so like my mom was if we were in da house in weekends it was ok..but we didn't have to. But with like my dad...we had to. we only did that at home...not at my cuz house...but if my cuz would come over ...then yeah they did it too. LOL da sleepovers were crazy lol

 

like omg. That's like, totally like, able to be put in like one sentence.

so with your mom you didn't have to what? wear clothes? and with your dad you had to wear clothes or be naked? I don't quite understand

 

With mom...on the weekend...its up to me if i wanna be w/o my clothes.
With my DAD...we have to not wear anything. only when we r home on the weekends.

this thread has quickly turned from a semi-serious debate, to garbage.

 

I do it all the time. My parents were old hippies from the 1960s and I was raised on commune of 15 people in the north of Canada. For me and most of the children in our commune, clothes were what you wore when it was snowing outside.

 

We all know you arent serious...

If you dont like NUDITY,please stay off this base... There are MANY OTHER BASES HERE for you to post on AND BE HAPPY

I have seen my sister staring at my dads and my genitals a lot.

 

I think its natural to be curious and all....

 

As with any situation familiarity tends to bring acceptance. Curiosity doesn't last long.

 

Growing up I saw all of my family members naked at one time or another.

 

There is a big difference between the odd glimpse, that is bound to happen in most families, and regularly wandering about in the buff. I think in this forum we mean by family nudity being comfortable nude in the presence of other family members whether they are nude or not.

I agree it is healthier to have a simply don't care stance but society has conditioned us to cover up. I'm happy being nude around my partner, who generally is covered, but no way with other family members or with visitors in the house.

I enjoy nudity on the beach and really look forward to those all too rare times. In the warmer weather at home I do spend time without clothes simply because it happens to be convenient. My comfort zone requires both warmth and the total approval of those around me. It would embarrass my friends and family and consequently me to push boundaries.
