They (kids) typically wouldn't because preteens would probably have little to no concept of "sensuality."

For example, recently at the resort, we were about a handful of people hanging out in the hot-tub. Among us was a 7 year-old boy. One of the women there, a friend of ours, after getting a little too warm, decided to sit on the top ledge with her legs open; hence her labia being quite visible to all. He probably also saw my wife's too as she got in and out of the hot-tub. He didn't even seem remotely interested in the "view" lol!
But then again something to keep in mind is, with both his Mom and her girlfriend also being nudists and tanning legs open, he's probably seen labias about a hundred times over for years. So to him it's probably all the same "piece of skin." Nothing remarkable. While growing up nudist, my daughter had the same nonchalant attitude about the various modes of nudity around her at the resort.

If the parents often go naked around their kid(s) and bring them to a nudist venue regularly, it's safe to assume they've "seen it all." But common sense should still prevail. If a parent brings his/her kid into a crowded hot-tub, pool area or beach; they are likely comfortable with their kid(s) seeing various modes of nudity (unless they're totally ignorant newbies). But if a "lone kid" wanders into that setting with their parents being away; you don't want to be in a situation where the kid runs back to their parents pointing the finger at you. Especially at a family-oriented resort. I've been in a situation where a little boy was running around the pool; and stopped to talk to my wife while she was tanning with her legs open. I got up to look for his Mom, who apologized and then walked over to my wife to introduce herself. Once introductions had been made it was no longer an issue for the kid interact with my wife; labia visible and all.
That's something that especially - and unfortunately - single males have to be very aware of.

Exactly, we shouldn't be offended by erections in and of themselves, but don't draw attention to it. Try to be discreet.

This sounds like a happy and reasonable medium between the hypocrisy of places that make believe people are asexual, and the swinger resorts that treat people as though they are only sexual.
