Fall Is In The Air

this is too early

leaves are changing already on my chokecherry and poplars...the birch leaves are falling already

 

We no longer get cold weather here in Florida; thus, global warming. Plus, global warming means cold weather reaches the north sooner than it used in the past.

 

nope, still no fall in the air here

Its the first day of meteorlogical autumn!!!!!!!!

very odd but brief storms.
dust, smoke, high wind, a little moisture, but not much.

the ac still comes on, even when set not to until it gets up to 77f.

summer lingers like a fish after three days.

 

Hurricane season is in the air, lots of rain here today.

It was supposed to be a record 94f yesterday, but it ended up being 85f. There's so much smoke in the air it's cooling the temps. and ash is covering the cars. We haven't had rain in 3 months.

 

My perfect setting..apple pumpkin candle lit,breezy high 60's temperature,and watching football!god I love the fall.im sure living here in S. Jersey,the temps will go back to 80's-90's again,but I am happy taking advantage of this lovely weather mother nature has given

 

We don't have four seasons in Florida. We have summer all year 'round except maybe two weeks of "winter weather".

I've been out in my back yard sitting out by the woods with my cigar for the better half of an hour... barefoot, sweatpants... what a great fall-feeling day... I can't wait until this is the norm... I was in Cali for so long that I have definitely missed this... I'm glad to be back in upstate NY

 

It is in the upper 60s here today which is unseasonably cool. I love it

warm enough for shorts and sandals but not hot enough to sweat like an eskimo in a sauna

 

I made it through to Autumn. What a relief. Summer was a mind-tripping obstacle course. Had a great time though. It's just quieter now, which is what I need. Oh that sweet September rain...

 

Had so much rain this summer everything is still solid green. With so much rain there are no trees in distress which usually causes them to change color prematurely.

Even my lawn remained green throughout August and didn’t go through it's usual period of dormancy
