It was like minus 17 at Cooma airport at one stage apparently

 

Woke up to 62 degrees..I love this weather..most likely it'll be 85 later!

Yeah, I have been noticing that the past few days. The feel and smell of the air is changing. I am trying to cling to the last shreds of summer . I do like fall, but it gets a bit ruined by the promise of 4 months of shitty weather, being trapped indoors, and high heating bills.

Boo.

 

Here in Southern California it is still early for fall, but I have the sense that summer has come and gone all the same. I'm ready for it to be cold enough for a jacket!

 

the leaves are changing on some trees already

and the natives have high wood piles

both are bad signs

 

Where I live,its been a gamble with how the seasons work.fall will creep in with chilly mornings and nights,but mostly it still has summer temps all thru October,even November sometimes.its a shame,it feels like we mostly get summer and winter.2 seasons,thats it..sometimes not even a winter.As a fall season lover,i need to move!!I swear this state has a shield up against anything good,weather wise.i remember having the best fall seasons when I was a kid. we would be wearing long sleeve shirts and pants the first day of school.kids are usually wearing t-shirts and shorts for the first few months!

 

Gonna be 95 here next week. Pyromaniacs favorite time of the year is rapidly approaching. High heat + santa ana winds
