Does anyone bother with gardening in the colder months?

I had a small garden going in the greenhouse last year. Kale, carrots, Chinese cabbage, bok choy, beets, lettuce, snow peas, green beans, etc... I was able to harvest a few things before I ended up busy with other things and it got all over grown. I'm not sure yet if I will be trying it again this year. I hadn't been planning on being where I am for another winter but plans change sometimes.

It's nice to just sit in the there in the middle of winter and be surrounded by plants.
