I was wondering if there are any other practicing pagans or witches that center their deities around the fae? I looked around and didn't see another topic already stared regarding this.... my personal faerie king is king oberon, that is who I tribute to in winter and the waning moon queen mab is my spring and waxing moon and during the inbetween times I tribute to whomever seems fitting for the request and/or tribute also as you can guess based on my name, the moon pretty much runs the whole show anybody else incorporate or tribute to faeries? if so, how do you practice? I DO believe in faeries I DO I DO!!!
humans like to think they know more then they do. sapient micro-nodes, yes, i don't believe there are authorities on things like this, but things themselves, beyond the limitations, of the names and perceptions we impose on them. the moon i'm sorry to say, is just a large chunk of not very interesting grey rock. (though i suppose there could be a spirit of or for it, as for any and every thing else) but all of the things we make associations with, they exist in different ways then we think we know about them. the universal wonder of strangeness, and that may be an emergent phenomina, as much or more then any one thing. that is a real thing, that can manifest at any scale. what i'm trying to say, no one name, no one way of looking, owns all of what is.
I clicked on the thread thinking it was for 'fairy Penguins" and I thought that would be quite interesting to try and distinguish between two gay penguins and a mating pair. But I was wrong
there is a saying for this. "you get what you get." maybe eventually i will find someone to just converse with about this that also finds peace in this particular path.
i like the kind of strange that is non-threatening, and i have seen "things", that to attempt to describe would be to deceive myself. so i avoid putting names to things, that even if other people do. i feel that i can see things more clearly if i avoid doing so. really nothing owes it to anything else, to fit some description from outside of itself. ok, i have no idea why my mind connected this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dwUPEw2rslg&list=RD1nUi3DaWzGI&index=16
that is beautiful. I guess I asked far too specific of a question. there seems to be numerous ways of worship and communication that I would personally relate to the fae, but perhaps isn't the exact terminology someone else might use.
I have always felt a connection with Pan, - As a free spirit of Nature, attuning with the faeries; I have found, allows me to absorb the Positive, Youthful Exuberance Energy they bring to refresh and inspire
different people, different times and places have different names of things ... "yes we're real" when the breeze plays between the blackberry leaves on a fine spring day, there are spirits dancing there pan, kernunos, coyote, mon key, circe, fey of fur scale and feather its all, the wonder of strangeness that is the good thing it doesn't even need words really, we just use words to share it and it, many small things don't need a hierarchy, what there is among the spirit we only guess, and even our wrong guesses may be right in some ways, and our right guesses wrong in others, this is a forest of words, because words are what we have here, in other places i make pictures.
