    Seems like a subconscious symbol of big brother to me. Have you been fucked over by a faceless bureaucracy recently?

    I believe the man has no face is because it is a situation that you are failing to confront or recognize. try not to run next time and look at the man and put a face on him. it could be a problem or you could simply be discovering something new about yourself. Who knows maybe he's just trying to give you next weeks lotto numbers lol

    Freud said that inhibited movement in dreams represents a conflict of will: i.e. part of you WANTS to NOT get away from the man, while part of you does. Does that make sense? It could mean either a specific man, or men in general?

    jack vance once wrote a novel called the faceless man. i seem to recall it was the first book of a trilogy. good read. which probably has nothing to do with this.
