Its a joke alright, just not a funny one. I was thinking of going back with a rogue account but can't really see the point. Its sort of a bit deeper than twitter in some ways and could be useful for keeping in touch with ppl, but like often happens, its been colonised by the world fascist pig community, money-makers and Babylon generally.

dunno if this is related at all or not...never had a facebook account. a friend sent me an email with some 'connected link' to facebook, and asked me to sign up and 'friend' her.

about two days later, i got a message in one of my email accounts that facebook was trying to send me a virus.

i told this woman to not send me any more facebook links-i dint want anything to do with it. the more i read about facebutt, the more glad i am i'm paranoid.

    now this might be relevant:

I won't delete my facebook. I've lived in a few countries and traveled a lot so it's a necessity if I want to keep in touch with all the people I have met.

I don't think so, though there might be a time limit like livejournal has. I know livejournal doesn't actually "delete" your account for a month or two in case you change your mind, which a lot of people do. Every person that I know who's deacitivated their facebook put it back up within a week or 2, so I can't really blame facebook for keeping it that way.

I do not seem to exist on Spokeo, and neither do my loved ones.

My ex does, though. He can have that attention if he likes.

Did you add your social security # and CC info as well? Don't forget to post lots of images of yourself too.

It shouldn't be called Facebook, but Fuckbook! Now there's an idea that'll fly. Who'll back me on it? Nevamind, it's too late...

Actually it should be called Fuckmebook, cause that is what is gonna happen eventually to everyone on it.

I guess it is a good thing facebook does not HAVE my phone number or address. Personally I think someone who puts that information out there on a site such as facebook is an idiot.

Orison319, what is it with you and squirrels?

I finally got free of the FB, and the withdrawal symptoms are almost gone. There was only one pic of me, modeling a corset, and NO personal info. I didn't even give my real name.

    Good luck finding me.

If you don't want people to know your phone number and address then don't put your phone number and address on the internet.

Yea there are alot of them out there!

FB browses many websites looking for data so if you for example are a member on FB and post on a site that FB uses (And its known to be YOU) facebook will add the data to your profile on FB!! (Its happend to a couple people i know on there)

FB sucks and is not a good place!
