well, i think it's possible to use facebook and not be obsessed with it. i have over 400 friends, ALL of whom i know. i don't add people i've never met. i have found people that i haven't seen in over a decade, straight up. it's definitely not worth spending all of your time on, but i like how the fact that people upload a bunch of pictures of you makes it kind of difficult to do away with ones that you find unflattering. unlike myspace, where it's easier to create a warped image for yourself.. i love being able to go through pictures and remember parties and gatherings and concerts and such. i think it gets unhealthy when you're on facebook so much that you think everyone is looking at your page all the time. one of my friends had to write a paper on that. kinda sick... haha. but yeah, that's my 2 cents worth.

 

I have mine on there, but my profile's also private and only people I choose to let see it can see it. So far no weird phone calls or visits, lol.

You just need to push the John Willkes Booth Button on facebook. :leaving:

 

click on the "privacy" button at the top right of the page, at the bottom of that page it says "Block people" you just type in their name...badda bing..
They supposedly can't even search for you...
