Experiences with the Huntsman or other spiders?

Huntsman spiders are harmless and good to have around the house to get rid of insect pests.
Redbacks and Funnel Webs are dangerous in that their bite is venomous but they too clean up unwanted insects.
I have lived my whole life in spiders, snakes, dingos, shark and crocodile environments and never been bitten my any of them.
My worse experiences are having been bitten on the my testicular sac by a Bull Ant and stuck by in the thumb by an Angel Fish dorsal barb, both excruciating in the extreme!
