I was just wondering. There are expensive wines. There are expensive cheeses. There even is beluga caviar (whatever category that may fall in). Are there any expensive sausages? Not that I was thinking of buying one. I probably couldn't afford it anyways. But I was just wondering.
Toulouse sausages from France are famous, don't know if they're expensive. If you're buying them in the States and importing them they might be.
The more meat and less fat, cereal etc the more expensive the sausage. So find the rarest most expensive meat, and the same with herbs... you got an expensive sausage.
The more fat the better IMO. I wanna sausage to burst in my mouth full of flavor, not chew on it like some gnarly dog.
Mangalitsa sausage The Mangalitsa pig almost went extinct in the 90's because they required more land to grow. What is a Mangalitsa Pig? | D'Artagnan Mangalitsa Bratwurst Party Pack Cheese & Hickory Smoked
