Evolutionary Bullshit The slowly dawning awareness, Among the academic community, Is they've been doing all the talking, But, nobody has really been listening. Instead of humanity, becoming dumber, They memorize, whatever makes money, Often ignoring, all the chattering academics, When fake news can upset the stock markets. Many insisting the sun revolves around the earth, And, soundly rejecting, Darwin's theory of evolution, Because, like academics, that's how they make a living! Survival of the fittest, is about who memorizes better bullshit! Darwin had it wrong for sex assumes you have already survived, And, possibly, are a great deal more creative, than Darwin ever was! Evolutionary bullshit, can be considered an emergent effect in physics, When you finally identify, that you have been identifying nothing all along! Whenever the lights might on, but nobody is home in modern day Babylon! The mindless masses pointing fingers, at each other for all of their problems.
Somehow I have to create an "evolutionary logic" for my Rainbow Warrior poetry and sum it up in the most humble and elegant manner possible. The hard part is figuring out all the metaphors required to make it word perfect and complete.
Darwin never used the term survival of the fittest, that came from Herbert Spencer, the first to not understand his work properly, as everyone seems to Its a fallacy that "survival of the fittest" was ever part of evolutionary theory "Evolutionary bullshit, can be considered an emergent effect in physics" - what the hell are you talking about?
Physical Confirmation A simulation of a Mott transition, From classical to quantum mechanical, Determined that the Big Bang was just right, And, neither too hot or too cold, in the slightest. The physicists discovered the universe is just right, For them to perform, their phase transition experiment! But, of course, not one among them ever got the punch line!
This is another quick example of how a poem about evolution has to bridge metaphors physically and I obviously need to combine various poems like these, but doing so will require first writing a shitload of them and then sorting the mess out to see how the metaphors can be combined more simply. This is not a task I'm looking forward to and, in the past, I've sometimes gone 8 months or longer shuffling and editing poems and adding new lines without a clue as to what it is all leading up to. Seriously, I can write new lines for poems all day long, without any real clue how the hell they fit into the poetry, because I'm merely doing the logic and crunching the numbers the hard way.
