I'd have to say CSNY is my very favorite.

 

The BEATLES, the who, led zeppelin, bob dylan, simon and garfunkle, janis joplin, the doors, pink floyd, don mclean, bowie.

 

I love the Who and the Velvets too, also the Beatles, the Mamas and the Papas, the Byrds, the Hollies, the Yardbirds, the Kinks, ya know..that kind of music.

hey all, this is my first post. some of my favorites include (of course these first few seem cliche, but for good reason ) Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, CSNY, CSN, Bob Dylan, Donovan, Traffic, Cream, Blind Faith, The Grateful Dead, Allman Brothers,Arlo Guthrie, Jefferson Airplane, Mamas and the Papas... you get the idea


i used to listen to alot of The Who, pink floyd, and Stones, but not so much anymore, lol that was when i was just getting into good music, i just havn't put their records on lately.

if you can, go to radioshack and by a turntable if you don't have one. it sounds dumb, but it just makes the music better in my opinion, its like your actually listening to the music when its on vinyl rather than throwing a cd in.

some newer music that isn't too bad is stuff like Phish, O.A.R., modest mouse, then i like to listen to the old nineties alternative stuff. there's some good stuff there.

 

by the way, Lucifer sam, great picture in your profile. Donovan is so incredible, thats from a gift from a flower to a garden right?
