where are you from?

 

can't you make a compromis? Like subletting your current place and living here for a few months just to see how you like it? Plus if you are seriously thinking of living in Amsterdam you really have to be a bit more specific on the areas I think.. the main areas have very different vibes and it's a bit love it or hate it most of the time. The main areas are Noord (north part, 'above' central station, over the water, couple of all white (trash) areas, couple of pure immigrant areas), Centre (noisy, vibrant, tourists, families & students), Zuid (white elite, yuppies), Zuid Oost (infamous area, lot of Surinam people.. this is where I live and I love it), Oost (mixed cultures, nice area) etc etc etc..

What are your dilemma's of moving or not-moving to Amsterdam?
