That depends on what you call a joke. For people like me who earn more than the maximum limit to get the money, it is a joke. Not a very funny one. For the people who do not make the maximum amount it is very real.

I wonder how much of the debt is student loans. I will never in my life have a credit card or anything, but I couldn't have even gone to college if I didn't get student loans from the evil bastards at Wells Fargo who will make millions off of me and people like me. It makes me sick that the government doesn't care enough to help us out with our education. Also, does anyone think it's a good idea to just move out of the country now? I'm afraid it's going to go to hell and I'll be trapped here with no job and loads of debt...
