if i were asked to sing the anthem for an event (not that thats likely, lol) i would encourage others to sing, lead the crowd in song. i always like hearing lots of people sing it at the same time, even badly.

I'm laughing (and crying) down inside about the NINJA housecleaning. I'm still trying to do stuff...and you see here where I am. :rofl:

For a lot of stuff, its me figuring out logistics to see where I can fit, squeeze and hide things.

I never can find shit for a while after I "clean up". lol

 

I'm about to 1st deceitfully hide some stuff that has not been looked at in 25+ yrs on this sturdy little 3 shelf bookshelf and then I'm putting my books there that I WILL look at. lol

Then I'm moving stuff back into a Very Clean bathroom.

I'm spray painting the sanded down etagere tomorrow.

Then if/when I really get all this other stuff done (I haven't even mentioned), I'm scared something is going to happen...cause I've never really finished before.

Not as far as I've gotten and I've got until Tuesday at 6pm. :hurray:

I don't have to worry about getting up and going to a job or going to any important appointments. I've got time.

I'm a better "under pressure" worker than not.

a box of sleeping pills will put you over that pitiful 8 hour limit. i read about someone who slept 20 hours after taking a bunch of them.

 

when i lived with my mom she had a poster in the bathroom in front of the toilet that had all these quotes from people aged 5 to 95. some funny and some inspiring and some interesting...or supposed to be interesting. the one that stand out in my head the most is one that said "you should never do anything that does not make your mother proud."
and all i can think while jerking off on the toilet is "is this making my mother proud?" like if she walked in would she be proud...should i stop because i dont think she would be proud?

no there is an understanding that everyone goes on monday but the thing is if people dont feel like going on a particular monday then well.....nobody is there. usually if there is a game sunday then people dont go on monday but only half the teams played this sunday so i figured half the people would show up.....instead only one person besides myself showed up.

 

sooo im pretty sure my dog killed a rat. so, its good that she killed it, however, now im thinking that we might have a rat problem. im not sure how to tell how bad it is, or how to deal with it. we are clearing stuff from around the house, burning off sticks and branches in the fire pit. weed whacking. but we have a crawlspace, which is hard to access. and basically 2 "out" buildings that need to come down (both poorly built, so no real loss)

can i handle this problem on my own or do i need to call an exterminator (that we really cant afford) ? i knew we had mice, but i think most houses with crawlspaces do. what are the chances that this rat was a domestic rat set free, or the offspring of a domestic rat? does it matter? we arent living way out in farmland, i dont have bulk grain silos, and we arent surrounded by garbage or even yard debris (we have a few piles, but are and have been dealing with them)

just more shit i have to worry about.

good dog though. im surprised any small critters want to brave our yard.

 

rats like dog poop. clean up dog poop, no rats.

 

i try to stay on top of cleaning up the dog poop, they have access to the whole yard, so its always a hunt. i guess i should build them a run to make it easier to clean up. ugh. what a fucking hassle. like i dont have enough shit on my to-do list.
