I'm sure in states where its legal, and they have superduper growing labs and selective breeding and all that good jazz, there must be some good stuff. Better than anything I've ever had available to me... all I know is I haven't tried any of that.

In just regular, illegal pot-world, even getting hold of what is supposed to be designer strains I have found the really good stuff from back when has been as good or better than the "good" I've gotten hold of in the last 10 yrs.

not sure how to get this window sales guy to quit harassing us. even if i was considering it, i wouldnt be now. hes been borderline threatening, because "I" gave my information to a stranger at my door. well i didnt do shit, hubby answered the door and asked the guy for a card. and i talked to this asshat on the phone last week, when he called us 6 times in a row on two different phones in the span of 10 minutes. i have been very polite. i cut him off asked him not to call again and hung up while he was still talking. who the hell do i complain to? im all fucking panicky now. i dont want a no obligation quote. leave me alone! we arent redoing the windows until after we do the siding, and we arent doing that until we decide for sure if we are building up or out, or not at all, so that we can do all the exterior at the same time. pushy fucking salespeople.

I feel bad for those sales people. They probably have him on 100% commission salary or close to it. So to succeed you have to bother people all the time. The company knows that and then they turn around and tell these people that their system works if you work it. I was once offered a job selling insurance that was like this. On the road Monday to Thursday every week paying all my own expenses. And the plan is to randomly knock of farmers doors (it's rural work) and sell them life insurance. The lady interviewing me said "don't worry if they pull a gun on you remain calm and explain you dont want to hurt them". In other words they know what is going to happen when a strange guy comes onto these guys land uninvited. I also had to pay out of my own pocket to be licensed and I was hired over the phone. They had not seen me in person once how do they know I don't have a face tattoo? The lady was surprised when I turned the job down too.

 

the thing is that hubby feels bad for the canvassers. and they are pushy. and everything is free, right? you almost have to sign up just to get them to go away. THIS guy i think i actually talked to directly last week. and told him we werent interested. i mean, sorry you wasted a piece of paper or a business card on us, but my husband tried telling the kid it wasnt in our near plans.

i feel bad about his job choice too if he is a 100% commission situation. but he cant make me buy windows, he cant make me get a quote. and he damn sure shouldnt cop an attitude with me, as a potential customer because "why did i sign up for blah blah blah? well you shouldnt answer the door..." like he was really weird, and drawing attention to the fact that he has my contact information. i think i will need to call the police tomorrow, but i didnt catch the guy's name either.

Yeah definitely. It is not your fault he is doing this job. I would tell him he is trespassing and you will have him arrested if he does not leave.

One thing about facebook...there is a sort of crime prevention page, which my cray cray friend got me a member of. It tells ALL sorts of stuff about...like when there were the vacuum cleaner people coming around and such. All the people in the area are alerting each other all day long. Or if you have a question, go there and post it.

I think it is great Being a older middle age lady :gorgeous: with a VERY elderly lady :wheelchair: (see that as an old lady with a cane ) that is wanting to walk in the yard and pick up stuff At The Edge Of The Yard On The Road, I an quite interested in if there blue lights blowing down the road...where there might be black smoke coming up down the road from, lost pets. etc

The internet would be a great way to warm others about jackass sobs coming around and annoying me about some dang windows I wasn't ready for yet. oh yeah.

edit: I felt so sorry for the nice Charter sales dude, I put in an order I KNEW I wouldn't be taking or wanting, etc. lol I told him that, for real. He just kept on and on and I laughed. I told him to write up the cheapest thing he could, and give me the phone number so I could cancel it before they hooked me up. He immediately did as I asked.
