The show sucks and so does Ray.
I know very well-I grew up with Ray in Forest Hills NY.
He was a Dick growing up and still is.

 

I can't stand it !!! I have psycho reasons. Bloody someone else watches it, but I listen to muzak with headphones while I'm online. It drives me NUTZ still hearing it in the background !!!!!!

 

i hate hate HATE raymond and his show. ugh it's so unfunny.
i don't knwo anybody who likes it and yet they play it here (NZ) every weeknight. eeeeww.

Has anybody seen that Family Guy piss-take where the wife whines "Raymond, your mother made fun of my lasagne" and he says "After 9 years I don't care anymore" and then she breaks a bottle on the sofa and tries to gut him?

Oh I laughed so hard.

why can't more shows be like Family Guy?

King of queens is the same way too, the couple always bitches and argues with each other and then the dad comes in and says something completely off topic thats supposed to be funny

 

I hate this show man!! Why are their voices so irritating?! It makes me so mad!

 

there was one episode where raymond agrees to let his cousin help him write a sports book.that one i liked.the rest of the shows were pretty bland though.

 

I almost didn't enjoy 'Ice Age' with that idiots voice in .

 

I used to like Everybody loves Raymond but TBS runs it too damn much, same thing for Friends.

 

i dont like that show either, almost as much as I hate the king of queens, and it sucks cause all my family love them both, im just like sorry, not funny how did they last for so many seasons?

 

I don't like Raymond either.Never watch it.You know 20+ years ago when they made quality television that show would not have even made it on the air.Of course about all the shows(rubbish) they make nowadays would have been rejected back in the days when they made great tv.

 

and that makes me wonder why (to me anyway) why there is so little good television programs being made.i wonder if it's the writers,producers,directors,actors,sponsers.maybe it's the viewers having shows made for what the majority want to see.there doesn't seem to be much innovation.that's nothing new i guess .television has always been that way.the raymond show i think had some potential even though the overbearing parent-neighbor thing was nothing new.i guess that's why many people including myself had some hope for it.

 

Good point/question.I think the writers,producers,directors and actors of current shows(and most shows made within the last 20 years or so) have very little or no talent.They no longer know how to produce quality entertainment.And the face of tv has changed.Back when there were only the 3 networks ABC,CBS,NBC there was always something good to watch.And they had high standards for quality.Now tv seems to cater to the lowest common denominator--it's just something to be shown in between commercials.---Other than that I don't know why modern tv shows are such rubbish.I just know myself and alot of people do not watch them.

 

i don't like it at all. i have seen a couple of episodes and i didn't have the slightest idea about what's going on, let alone laugh at it.
