Yes, 6-eyed, you're explaining a manifestation of the classic good vs. evil idea. An idea as old as ideas.
the simple fact, that NO ideology equals freedom does NOT give capitalism a free pass to claim that it is. if you could build anything you want, anywhere you want, as long as it were no more the 20 feet, whatever that is in meters, 5 and half maybe, in any one direction, and no less the 40 feet from what someone else has, and no one, not a government, not a neighbor, not some nasty fascist kid, would come along and tear it down, or tell you you can't live in it, nor call it your home, THEN you would be living in a free country, maybe, and i mean without having to buy the land to build it on, which morally belongs to every feral cat and any and every other natural or stray creatures, and absolutely belongs to indiginous cultures that were there before any of today's nations existed. and that includes the borders of today's nations, which other then coastlines, have no natural right to exist. so in a way, i'm way out there on both sides of this mirage of conservative vs liberal conflict too. yes i think a free country is a great idea, but people harassing each other, over religion, ideology or anything else, just really isn't even close to anything of the sort.
our corporate masters don't encourage anything you can make yourself without having to indenture yourself to them. a pet rock was something you could make yourself. you still needed something to use for paint and something to apply it with, but apparently that wasn't enough indenture to them to make them happy.
