Ever wonder what people say about you when you are not around?

That is totally true for me... when I am feeling really high anxiety(to the point of having full out panic attacks over it) it reall has little to do with the people or situation. It is MY mental state.
- I am worried that everyone is thinking what a weirdo dumbass I am, or upset over something stupid i did/said.
In reality I know(the rational side knows, at least) they probably aren't thinking about it , or caring AT ALL,- and that it is all in my mind, but it doesn't stop the feelings from happening.

i've been the sounding board for a lotta frustrated and annoyed people. everyone gets mad, everyone gets sick and tired of someone else's shit and needs to talk about it. this doesn't undermine the essential relationship most times. people just get on each other's nerves. sometimes the relationship is over, sometimes it's not. getting pissed and saying something nasty behind another person's back isn't all that unusual. if that person feels bad about being nasty, then likely the relationship isn't over. if they don't and continue to talk trash, then the relationship is over.

I cared until the neighbors started telling everyone that we were drug dealers and it still didn't affect my life overall or make it any worse. In fact, since then, my life has only improved, so...after pretty much the worst rumor anyone spread involving me, I just don't give a crap anymore. Words are just words, it's actions that really make a difference.

Nope, I don't really wonder about it. I would care if they did it just to hurt me, and then I only would wonder why I guess and not really what they're saying. But I reckon that in general it's just the regular unpersonal complaining which I'm guilty of myself every now and then. :cheers2:
