Or are market rate co-ops only for those with the huge portfolios? My wholy creative, less than perfect, rent paying self is dreaming again about actually acruing equity.
Forgive my ignorance, but I don't have the SLIGHTEST IDEA of what you are writing about. Are you referring to co-op as a type of apartment? Explain yourself, woman!
I'm talkin $$ and housing baby Market rate= can sell portion of co-op for the "market rate"..ie, can get back what you put in. Limited equity=I don't want to know, it's more often low income co-ops, And I don't see why us poor workin folks gotta get stuck in something that can't pay out as much as the rich folk co-op, ya dig? I mean, yeah I may be a hippy, but $ helps the world go round (and helps pay off all those student loans..oww) Ok, maybe I need to go to www.yuppy.com ..if the site exists......... problem is I don't own any solar panel conglomerates yet
Don't know where you're living or looking, but I vaguely remember this organization from New York. http://www.dhcr.state.ny.us/ohm/progs/mitchlam/ohmprgmi.htm http://www.nyc.gov/html/hpd/html/for-apartment-seekers/mitchell-lama.html http://www.housingnyc.com/resources/mitchell/mitchell.html
