Heh, its rather ironic actually... Most of the people you see in this thread were, not 2 months ago, engadged in fierce verbal combat with one another over marijuana's debated addictiveness/harmfullness. Its actually kinda creepy seeing everyone so unified right now over this.

Anyway, I'll admit I was a little harsh, but people shouldn't even consider dosing there kids with drugs. Even asking such a question, as if giving a child a drug is something everyone does, doesn't really diserve praise.

She deserves a reality check. Just asking that question, maybe she is thinking that is a normal thing to do. I mean who asks something like that? That is completely stupid, and worst part is she didnt even realize what was so silly about it.

Keep in mind, everyone has the right to be the devil's advocate. Her question might have been "unorthodox", but definitely not something that should be considered a "threat", if you will.

 

this thread makes me think about that whole discussion on beastiality...

a thread like this is just plain stupid, and if u have been posting on this forum for a week u would know why.

 

it was the way she said it more then the actual question you dont walk up so someone you dont know a ask them, if they rape people how often they do it and if its fun then give a littile airhead giggle, serious questions like this arnt some you just ask like that, you say what you do think the morality of giving a small childdrugs,would it make a difference to you if they wanted the drug. either take it serious or dont even bother.

Seriously...if an adult gives their kid bud in food...and the kid laready smokes...then no big deal I suppose. I smoked a few bowls with my dad one day, and then later that day he made stir-fry and put bud in it without telling me, but I figured it out about an hour or two later.

You guys in the marijuana forum sure are wound up, perhaps you should smoke a bowl.

Look at things for what they are. Parents give their kids fucking AMPHETAMINES all the time. Look at the vast array of PROVEN harmful substances children are fed, in full support of their doctor and the law!

Obviously I don't agree with giving a child drugs without their knowledge, or against their will. But I see nothing at all wrong with giving your teenage kid some pot brownies if they want them.

The butter in brownies will probably cause more damage to your child than the pot would. There are no credible studies that prove Marijuana causes any damage itself, it's smoking that produces most of the dangers.

It's not that big of a deal! May not look good to the government or the law, but in all honesty is probably one of the least dangerous drugs kids today use/take.

 

i hate to sound like some goverment loving bastard...

but the amphetemines that parents give their children, ie. asprin cough syrup etc. etc. are all APPROVED by the FDA for safe use, carrying little to no side effects, and when used as the directions state, will never cause harm.
