Aside from my mother who I love very much. I have been in love with three women, the last one being my ex-fiance. Most people still don't realize animalistic attraction and sex, no matter how good it is, is not necessarily love. I had women where sex was like a workout, but there was little feeling tied up in the relationship.
It's so true. I lost a person I loved and still love very deeply to a drug overdose last summer and never once have I felt that I'd be better off having not known her in the first place. It's hard to understand that quote truly until you have truly TRULY loved and lost.
I'm more into lust than love. I've seen countless people in my life say they've found their "true love" and say they'd be together "forever" but it all came crashing down. Every single time, guaranteed. I blame religions for creating this frantic need to hitch up permanently with their "one true love" for "eternity." Humans can be monogamous as much as they can be promiscuous...it's all in our DNA whether you may like it or not. I just happen to believe that love is a highly overrated feeling. All it is is your body telling you, "Oh yes! This one is gonna screw me, procreate with me and pass along my genes!!!" for lack of a better explanation. That's all it is, just a drive to pop out children and we certainly need less people in this world, what with over-crowding. I've also had my heart broken lots of times. It ain't fun and I'm not going to go through it again. Just relax and enjoy the person, or persons you are with, because they can be out the door when you least expect it. Fuck and have fun my friends!!!
I definatly agree with you people throw those three little words out wayy too much then people act all suprised and crushed when they get hurt. I'm one of those people who doesn't like to throw it around, I mean to be honest if you really love someone you shouldn't have to tell them all the time they should just know, then you've got true love.Peace
