Why do they talk so fast? I tend to talk a bit fast but even I have trouble understanding what they are saying.
Because they don't want their followers figuring out they have no idea what they are talking about... Basically the same thing used car salesmen do.
It's basically a slight of hand manoeuvre. They talk a lot of nonsense and they will talk quickly to get to the next piece of nonsense so as not to let the listener comprehend and make sense what was just said (and realise that it's just nonsense that's being uttered). You almost always have to be a sociopath to become a evangelical preacher.
