Star Trek: the Next Generation has had characters that, in my opinion, were or came off as ethnic stereotypes. They were often bad characters too. Although as I tell people, I actually liked Dr. Pulaski. (Mind you, this is just for TNG.) These are my top three:

    • Kosinski (played by Stanley Kamel),
in "Where No One Has Gone Before" Season 1, Episode 6,
Original air date: October 26, 1987.

    • Dr. Katherine Pulaski (played by Diana Muldaur),
first appearance: "The Child" Season 2, Episode 1,
Original air date: November 21, 1988.

    • Ensign Sonia Gomez (played by Lycia Naff),
first appearance: "Q Who?" Season 2, Episode 16,
Original air date: May 8, 1989.
