Moon, I think the point he was trying to mistake is that we are alone with our own verdicts. It's all good in this hood on a mutual level. Nothing is said to harm, only to highlight You say what you mean and mean what you say, there's little else to worry about. I see you as honest and loving, however you create very elaborate scenarios where you seem to be victimised, and this is not so. If it is, you don't need it in your life anyway. Feel the air play in your lungs, listen to the ambience and watch the way the light falls on your surroundings. This is home, and the only "meaning" you'll ever need is found there. You can only be hurt if you allow it. Watch out for the imagination, it can be a bit of a trickster
OK, great.....that was a system I observed 3-4 years ago already..it is quite the system....and it is hard to get it out of one's head once it is there, is all.....it almost made me insane......I needed to labotomize it out.....
^^^ Basically saying the same thing I said earlier in this thread... Except that it's scientific observations instead of my own observations.
Which is that rituals have an effect on peoples thoughts feelings and behaviors. This does not suggest that rituals affect events beyond your own psychic development.
Agreed, scientists can't yet link a direct cause between ritual and said effect that can be put into a little box. However, one's psychic development and emotional state is undeniably a factor in the desired outcome. So this article does suggest that rituals affect results, just that there is currently not a direct principle to be observed by scientists. This brings back the notion that as the internal microcosm shifts, the external macrocosm shifts in accordance. What matters is that the "lucky golf ball" is improving the performance of the golfers. Scientsists can't find a direct cause, but nonetheless, the golfers' psychology, energy, and attitude is different because of the labelled "lucky golf ball". This points back to what i spoke of in the past of Magick being a self-imposed placebo. It's about getting involved with your subconscious in order to have an effect on an external outcome.
From the above which is basically an editorial piece, "In our current scientific mythos," Meaning we, the author/s, currently speculate. How about in very simple terms, practical is what we practice at. Fact is you don't have to get involved in any extraordinary way to have an effect. There are no idle thoughts. Be aware of your consciousness in all it's iterations to understand it's connection to the effects you see in the world. They are in play whether you are aware of it or not. As far as outcomes, there aren't any, only a constant state of becoming. Self imposed placebo huh? I'm not sure why we are keen to extol the virtues of using a crutch when we can walk perfectly well. Know thyself. Regardless in the interest of discovering things that we may not have known, here is some information. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magi
This isn't about whether one should or shouldn't get involved with Magick...it's about Magick as a tool and a path. I'm always trying to illustrate the evidence of its effects, and link it up with Science. The second link I posted goes into this in a little more detail than the first link.
As far as the micro/macro shift referred to. Resonance or large oscillation is a matter of consistent tone and duration. That is all impulses must be cultivated over time to manifest with fidelity in time. We are far too tolerant of mind wandering to get a grip on the extent of our current effects and this makes it seem as though we are at the disposal of chaotic exterior phenomena.
All I'm saying is that you don't need to use Magick as a tool if you choose not to but that has nothing to do with whether it works or not. One can use a John Deere if they want but they don't have to, though it's more efficient.
Measure of efficiency depends on what you are trying to accomplish. John deere is the most efficient way to plow your field. Again what do you use the tool for.

"The Method of Science, The Aim of Religion" http://www.ararita.org/content/what-does-method-science-aim-religion-mean
if you take the time to listen to this you will hear about post-2012 Science, DNA which creates itself (which a scientist conducted a study of), the Universe being a liquid, and much more. Take it for what you will but if you comment please at least listen to a little bit of it. The farther you listen, however, the more intense it gets. By the way, the scientific term "Hermetically Sealed" comes from Magick and Hermeticism https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=etnj8G1rOFw
