Errrrr Metallica just announced a Tour October 26 at ANZ stadium in Sydney, Slipknot are the Support act "All other tickets will go on sale Monday March 19 on Live Nation’s website, with prices starting at $127 and going up to $598 for a VIP package." Prices start, START, at $AU127? Dafuq! Errrrr, help me decide....Am I just sooooo sick of Metallica?.....but Slipknot are the support act, and I really wouldnt mind seeing them. Also havent been to a stadium concert in a while Am I just too old for this shit?, It will probably be another couple hundred bucks for a hotel nearby so I can go have a nap straight after
You ever seen them before? Are you likely to see them again? Does not seeing them when you could have, feel as good as seeing legends... Easy, you got to go...
Soundwave 2013 that was a pretty awesome show But more because I got to see The Offspring for the first time And Linkin Park was right before Metallica We flew over to Perth to see it, because, forget why, I couldnt make the Sydney show for some reason, hmmm, that was only 6 years ago, feels like longer
Went to see Bob Dylan couple years ago... I will never get over seeing a legend... but the show was crap!
My sister wants me to come to the Sydney concert. I was at 2013 soundwave! I wore a shirt that said Fvckin Sh!t Cvnt Lots of people talked to me.
Forget "Metallica"......Forget The Cost Of The Airfares.....But You Will Always Remember The Day You Finally Got To Meet Australia's ....Very Own "Blonde Gorilla"....In The Flesh...... Cheers Glen.
^^^You and Irmi were at the same concert in 2013 and might go to this Metallica show at the same time, too.
Soundwave Festival, she was at the Sydney one, I went to the Perth one And its like 4hr flight to Perth, like going to another country
I was still pretty young when the black album was released. It was my first cd of them I got. But yes; they never released something better after that. And they lost their raw energy that made them really good.
I think their "mystique", if you will, wore off after that but have you heard Death Magnetic? There are a few tracks on there that are pretty intense.
Anyways but ugh yeah concert ticket prices....i'm a broken record on this subject I get it, no one is buying albums anymore so they have to jack up ticket prices. But it just rarely seems worth it to me
