Erections- A double standard

For the women:
Men get a bad wrap from social media and society in general regarding erections. As men we all know that. We are told to cover it up or go for a swim. It’s hypocritical to be at a nude resort or nude beach where everybody is naked to begin with and express dislike in seeing erections.

For the women out there: Why would you not want to see a man’s erection at a nude resort or campground if he is not touching you with it? Secretly, I believe women like seeing it, but are prudish to some degree.
What say you?

If I saw a man I didn't know at a nude resort or campground, and he had an erection , it wouldn't bother me as long as he didn't wiggle it in my face or try poking me with it

As the OP here and a older straight man (66), l would like to think that I am respectful to all. I am a nudist and so is my wife. We don’t flaunt our lifestyle. My wife surely doesn’t mind seeing an erection. I agree with both of you. Erection can and will happen. Society ostracizes men unfairly. The older generation can learn a thing or two from the young generation. We do enjoy a open discussion with all.

 

It doesn't bother me if a guy gets a hard on at all. It's only natural.
However, if they are nude in a public place and police get a bit of an eyefull then yes cover up.

It's the same when i see guys take a leak in public. It doesn't bother me. But it might bother others.

FYI, I grew up with two older brothers who used to pee in my family's backyard.
They didn't care if they had no modesty.

 

Privately i'm not fussed at all if the space you are in is a private and seclueded area.
If you are able to go nude at home without the fear of visitors peering through your window and seeing you with a boner then that's kind of ok.
However, it'd be difficult if you were out the front and that happened.
I'd be asking some serious questions.

 

Thank you. I was referring Erections in adult appropriate places such as public posted nude or clothing optional beaches and nudist campgrounds/resorts. Also in the privacy of one’s own back yard. Displays of erections in public should contained.

 

It's the same when you are in the nude and you have to answer a call of nature. Unless there are signs posted up that you can't pee at the nudest resort you are at or even at a nudest beach then they had better make sure that the toilets are close by.

As i said it doesn't bother me if i see a guy with a boner. I grew up with two older brothers who had them all the time when younger.
Even today it doesn't bother me if they are seen in the nude.

However, if you had visitors over i'd make it a rule that you have to cover up.

 

The only thing that men really have to show there sexuality is there erection or man hood. Women have there breast and pelvic region. as a nudist for many years I have seen my fare share, and doesn't bother me. The human body is such a perfect work of art. And should be shown in all it's glory. But from a man's point of few, having one should be OK, but to flaunt it or handle it inappropriately is in bad taste.

 

I have read far too many stories about guys going to nudist clubs/resorts and getting scornful looks because they popped a boner. I know the mindset has changed from “nudism excludes sexual” to being more open about sex. But it is kinda a shame that guys can get shamed because of a natural reaction*.

*But if you intentionally get excited and try to flaunt it, that’s a different story!

I totally agree. As far as nudism with others goes, I find it very sexy to see a man's erection. As long as he acts in a respectful way , I don't have a problem. I hike naked with several good friends, including four guys. I've seen all of them hard, at one time or another, and I was cool with it..I found it very erotic..

 

Ncbumpkin, I hope your young prospective catches on. So far, a full erection hasn’t happen to me yet, at the nude campground we go to. I can’t lie, I have had a few semi hards.
My wife really enjoys catching a eye full of that.

I have found that to be so true.

 

In the 7 years I've been a member of a nudist club and in my 4 trips to a nudist resort I've never ever seen a guy with an erection. I've seen a lot of other things, a pre-op shemale, decent sized penises, average sized penises, penises so small you have to kind of squint to see them, women with prominent clits. But never ever an erection. Not even a semi hard one. Sadly I won't ever be the guy with one since I lost that ability 17 years ago and I'm now 54 so those days are long gone now and are never coming back.

 

I have a few girlfriends who think it's so wrong that I hike, walk, ride bikes, swim, or whatever with a group of naked friends.

 

I grew up with two older brothers who would always get a boner each morning. It didn’t fuss me one bit. Nor did their way of dealing with it outside in the backyard.
They used to use the garden to relieve themselves of their morning erections especially if they had to pee. It never bothered them if i saw the stream

 

I used to get a boner every time my wife lost her clothes at the beach. I never flaunted it, but didn't hide ether. One time two women were watching and smiled broadly. I hope they enjoyed. I know my wife loves other men with hard-ons.
