Sometimes when I talk to my girlfriend, who I love dearly, I notice I get an erection and we don’t even talk bakery anything sexual. It seems if we have a really nice conversation, and my heart swells with joy, I can also get an erection.

I tend to get erections during intimate conversations as well. Not about sex but just a deep meaningful conversation where I feel close to her.

That's a good response to a loving feeling. Deep intimacy with a person goes beyond the sexual response, but when there's real love, the body responds whenever there's close connection.

I think you should ask her to marry you . With those feelings you have found your match IMO .

I know what the OP means. It happens to me too. I think it is a natural reaction when we are with those whom we love.

I agree. That's why I think he should marry her. He may not find someone else who gives him the same feelings .
