As B. F. Skinner once pointed out, people should be paid for the work they do and the energy expended. I have nothing against really rich people. But how much work to they do? Do they ever even break a sweat?
Do we really need to answer that question! They make $$$ off the sweat of working class people. Like politicians who the working class, pay taxes, to pay their salary. But get nothing in return.
They make money off of shuffling paper. No real work involved. Unless trying to keep actual working people paid as low as as they can be. I suppose that takes effort.
well there is working; for an agreed/ legal wage. Then there is self-employment, a whole other situation.
Certainly not all of them, but wealthy people tend to work hard. The real problem is, our authoritarian patriarchal values stomp on our family values. Both Germany and Japan were decimated by WWII, but their population recovered, and they became two of the wealthiest countries in the world, with the US possibly being the only country that demands even longer working hours, if less productive. The invention of birth control appears to have destroyed their time-honored patriarchal tradition, ensuring that the populations of the entire developed world are now imploding, starting with that of Germany and Japan. The closer you get to any major metropolitan area, the faster their birth rate takes a nose dive, and the statistics are showing declining mortality rates as well. They are literally trading living, for more money, and suffer chronic social problems as a result. The more advanced our technology becomes, the more self-defeating they become. My work encourages them to become as self-defeating as their insanity demands. Donald Duck as Emperor of the World! Is responsible for more conservative deaths than anyone alive.
