Epic Beard Man "ROUND 2!!" The guy is 67, and smokes like a chimney! I'm not so sure this is a good idea. But on the other hand, i want to see it. And it looks like its going to happen! People just couldn't leave it alone. What do you think of this? http://www.ebaumsworld.com/video/watch/80924729/
I’d tune in to see that live broadcast; hell it couldn’t be any worse than watching Todd Bridges vs Vanilla Ice Hotwater
i think it's ridiculous the degree to which america's youth have NO IDEA about the music, shows, inance cultural references and such of their parents. and they act like ignorance is a virtue. not saying that's what happened with the kirk thingie, but i've noticed quite a lot of it lately.

KDKA numSlides of totalImages A Port Authority bus driver is off his regular route with pay after he allegedly got into a physical confrontation with a rider. Samon Bradley, 20, says he was beaten by the driver after being put off the bus for not paying his fare. It happened around 9:30 p.m. Monday on the 61A East Pittsburgh. Bradley said it all started when he couldn't find his transfer after first getting on the bus. The driver asked for his fare. "I told the man to hold on just a second because I just came from work and I had to make sure I had my transfer,'" he told KDKA-TV. "The rider who got on the bus and refused to pay his fare was confronted by the bus driver who said, 'I recognize you, you don't pay your fare quite often,'" Jim Ritchie, a spokesman for the Port Authority, said. From there, the stories differ. Bradley says he doesn't ride the 61A that often and then the driver ordered him off the bus and he spat on the floor as he left. Bradley: "I started to get off the bus and I turned to him and I spit on the bus," Bradley said. Lynne Hayes-Freeland: "You spit on the bus, not on him?" Bradley: "I spit on the bus. I don't know if I … I just spit on the bus." The Port Authority, which is conducting its own investigation into the matter, says it was a bit more complicated. "When the individual started to exit the bus he turned to the bus driver he spit in his eyes, in his ear, and inside his mouth," Ritchie said. "That led to this altercation between the two individuals and as I said our police are still investigating it." Bradley says the driver followed him off the bus, chased him down the street and began to beat him while the other passengers watched. He took pictures at UPMC where he was treated for bumps, bruises, a concussion and lacerations of the face. "He's just sitting on my back and I couldn't do nothing," Bradley said. "It just felt like I was being violated. I couldn't do anything. And I'm just begging this man to get off me. I'm apologizing for spitting. I'm just saying, 'Please get off of me, sir, like please – you're not doing the right thing – like please get off of me,' and this man is just saying, 'You won't do this again.'" Bradley eventually found his transfer while he was waiting at the hospital.
Why should the youth care? Why fill their minds with "inance cultural references?" If it was really important to the parents maybe they should have harped on about it more.
typical youth response. how else are you supposed to win at trivial pursuit? on a more serious note, i found the idea of my parents ever having been young completely fascinating and chock full of valuable info. i weep for children who think cover songs are brand new.
I really don't think they're that ignorant. Maybe it was just my friends but most of them were very aware of the many great movies and bands of "your" generation.
:svengo:.........:nopity: I just laugh at them. I just don't think it has anything to do with parents. Some people are into pop culture, some don't give a shit, and some pick and choose what they want to fill their heads with...
a lot of people just let the mainstream media dictate what they fill their heads with. whatever's on mtv and entertainment tonite. they know all of kanyey west and big brother contestants, but ask them anything about the history of their city and they wouldnt even know where to begin
i was raised believing that "i don't know" is a perfectly reasonable and acceptable response, but not something to brag on. those who do know history are doomed to repeat it, and if you think you want the 70's and 80's back, then clearly you haven't the foggiest idea what you're talking about.
