Enjoying the country life in Texas!

I’m happily married to an amazing man and we have fun together all the time! I’m outgoing and enjoy learning new things. My sisters and I were physically abused by our “so called mom” and she let us know that we were insignificant and meant nothing to her. I refuse to let a woman like that define who I am or what I am able to accomplish, despite the fact that she made me quit school after only completing the 8th grade. Is that embarrassing? Absolutely. But I refuse to let her actions define me! I knew that I had 2 choices as far as my reaction. I could become bitter and angry or I could try to just help others and be genuine about that. I chose the latter. I am far from perfect and don’t pretend to be! However, I sincerely care about other people and my hope is that with my history and knowledge obtained from some wise people who have always been there for me that I am able to somehow help others. My relationship with my husband couldn’t be better and I hope to pass on some things that have helped make that possible. I am definitely not too proud to admit that I don’t know if asked something outside of my wheelhouse!
