nah. they suck, but aren't the worst. the worst ones are generally the ones where you don't remember, but people tell you that you were doing shots until the time you went to sleep.

day hangovers are nice in that they are gone by the next morning. if you drink enough for a multiple day hangover, you generally are asleep one way or the other before you sober up.

These are great answers!!! Keep 'em coming, please! I can use several different ones each day!

I am getting 8 hrs of sleep, especially since the exhaustion hit. I probably don't eat real well. I take some multi vitamin with 417% RDA of B-12. I stay busy, moving, ...I think that's why I'm tired, lol.

Yeah, you pass out between drinking sessions.

But let me ask you something - how often do you day drink and not go get schmammered that night and still have the entire daylong hangover the next day?

The only time I don't is if I smoke a bunch of weed and I'm just like fuck that.

Themnax - Well, it's not that I want to be more physically energetic... It's that my life is demanding it so I have to be right now.

occasionally after day drinking, night drinking just doesn't seem to work. you know, sort of like trying to drink on a too full stomach; the beer just doesn't want to go down, and what you can drink doesn't seem to have as much of an effect.

but for the most part i agree, you either get re-drunk or smoke a bunch of weed instead.

    Dudes!

    Please stop derailing my thread.

Would you like to go start a drinking and hangover thread? I think you should because this thread ain't it.

    Thank you.

    Anyway...
My cousin reminded me about (local) honey today, so I'm going to try that.

I'll try the other food suggestions too.

I'll go back to water instead of so much green tea with sugar; even though I think it might be letting me loose some weight.

I'm anxious to try the EnerG tablets too!

A walk in fresh air if you have the time works wonders.

I used to drink a tea that had eleuthro in it and it gave me amazing natural energy. I didn't realize it was the eleuthro until I started reading about it and found out its an herb that helps your body handle physical stress. I drank it in a celestial seasonings tea but I'm sure you could just buy a supplement.

edit: it is actually spelled eleuthero

    We're brainstorming here.

There has to be a link between day drinking and energy, just give us a min :punk:

Local honey is good for allergies, you should do that.

I used to take drugs for energy but I will not recommend that at this juncture.

The main thing I can think of is 'doing' something you are passionate about.

Even if there is no way I should even be out of bed, much less alive.. if I am balls deep in engines, machines, tools, grease, and music the energy just comes to me.

I agree with you on that passion/adrenaline connection, deviate. It just doesn't last and there you are out of energy again when it's over.

That's when you get drunk, relax your mind and prep for that next passion rush.

Yeah, try em.. they seem to help me more than coffee without making me feel jittery or anything neg. like that. A nice clean, sharp alertness is kinda how I'd describe the effect I get from them.
