    Quick question: At the very end of Requiem for a Dream is Marion on the couch clutching a wad of money or is it drugs?

    i think it's drugs ... i dont think she would've got money as she was only doing it for heroin.

    my boyfriend just finished reading the book for the 2nd time. He says some of the moments have more impact in the book. The book also has a real 70s feel... like the hard gritty 70s. Which would make the black guy's plight in the south seem much scarier - that was 30 years ago.

    i'm not sure what it is, but holy shit is that a weird ending. the whole double sided dildo thing, and buddy losing his arm, fucked with my head.
