They absolutely knew each other existed. Study REAL archeology and that is plain to see. Hell, not too long ago they discovered numerous Egyptian mummies with Cocaine in their systems. Cocaine only came from one place at that time..and we cannot contribute it to bunches of blow getting blown over to Egypt by some great wind.....

How could the ancient Hindus have known about the ancient Mayans? It's very unlikely that either of them could've/would've traveled so far for a few supplies.
