Employment In The Cannabis Industry

I live in CA so I see weed jobs going up on Craigslist all the time and I'm imagining it's the same in Colorado, but it still piqued my interest to see that Willie Nelson is offering marijuana jobs with his new company Willie's Reserve. Can you imagine working for Willie Nelson? That would be wild.

LOL Is that one of the qualifications for getting one of the jobs or something? Looked like office work to me

 

Most dispensaries only hire females, I guess to kinda flirt with customers and get them to buy more, or get more tips or whatever. As fas as what goes on behind the scenes, it might be more male dominant.

 

i assume willie doesn't have much direct involvement in the business.

 

He probably samples all the products though...

 

True, I worked in the mail room of a company owned by Robert Shapiro (one of the lawyers on the OJ Trial) and I only met him once at the office Christmas party so you're right...Willie probably wouldn't drop in. But it seems like the jobs are for more than just dispensary counter work.

 

The only female that works at my dispensary is the girl who buzzes you in. Looks like she also probably does the accounting and other office work too. But every person who talks weed with you is a guy. I have seen plenty of both gender be bud tenders. But when it was a female it is true that many times she was good looking.

 

Yeah, I don't have stats or anything but I read that women were finding more employment opportunities in the cannabis industry than other major industries. Maybe this was specifically referring to executive positions.
