This really needs to happen more often.

 

i wouldn't give the parents any grief and such. whatever, it's over. no point in pointing fingers. though they're probably start crusading agains emo bands. pmrc all over again.

i find the sad part is that he liked emo music. if my kid tried to listen to emo music i would say dont be a pussy put on some metal cause no fag music in my house.

what ARE the emo bands, anyway? i've heard of a couple that i found to be kinda pretty and soothing, some dancy and fun. do you have to deliberately meditate on how sad you are BEFORE you listen to it? 'cause i just don't do sad very well.

i'm not sure about emo... i never heard of such a thing in high school, then i went to college and everyone acted like these "emo kids" were everywhere, although i didn't see them around in college either...

whenever i've asked what emo music is, people usually name some pop-punk bands that are not actually depressing at all, beyond the sad fact that such shit is put out on the radio while good music is ignored...
