She means she is broke but not so much so that she couldnt take some time off if someone got her to ny and put her up for a while (most likely in a hotel) until the return flight.
Well, Rainy, I am 80 miles away from the city at my house, but you could stay here. Not much to do around here like in NYC...unless you like the country and beautiful scenery.....the Hudson in all of its glory....restaurants.....movies....but not much in the way of clubbing here.....just some neighborhood bars....ugh.
but for me, it is a pretty easy train ride into NYC, too, and back home again...about 90 miuntes one way, if I remember correctly.
Yeah, and if we went to the city, you could meet my brother....Happilyinlove said something about meeting, too, if in the city once.
I'm probably going to watch Let's Get Lost tonight, documentary about Chet Baker, saw it in the cinema a few years ago but I want to watch it again
I'm extending boring Friday into boring Saturday. It's snowing like mad, I have lasagna for dinner and some great war books to be read. Weeeee
looks like I have a chuck e cheese birthday party to go to and then I actually made plans to go to a club, I got my friend to agree to go to a gay club with me, but now it looks like she has to head back home early, so I most likely won't go alone, and now I'm bummed.. so I will most likely spend my saturday night on hip and painting my toenails or something
I may finish watching 'Fanny and Alexander"...Very long and boring Swedish drama written and directed by Ingmar Bergman.
